Charity campaign whets appetite for Nepal

Alberto parmigiani is back from his recent trip to nepal. And of course has brought a success message with it. He was able to see for himself that the second school has now been completed in the earthquake region. It is once again a facility that the man from herzogenaurach has been able to finance with donations from his hometown.
This second school is a new facility in dahlbanjayang, in the gorkha district of nepal. But the french italian sees no reason to rest. "Soon we will start the third", he writes. And sends his "sincere thanks to all who support our projects" afterwards. Because they "make many children and people happy."

For the third time

Further support is guaranteed. Now, for example, master baker christian polster has decided to place this year’s benefit campaign under the star of the nepal project.
This benefit campaign by the polster bakery is now entering its third round. The sale of the benefit bread will be used to support the "son of light" project for needy orphans in nepal. So reports polster in a press release.
"Son of light" is a community project that was founded in 2003 by the three musicians santa ratna shakya, shree krishna shahi and alberto parmigiani. Since then, they have organized joint activities such as concerts, workshops and lectures to raise funds for children’s aid projects in nepal.
Priority is given to long-term sponsorships for the many orphans. The children are accommodated in boarding schools. There they can live, go to school, receive medical care and are provided with basic necessities such as clothing and food.
Goal of "son of light is to establish its own boarding school with professionally trained staff and to arrange as many sponsorships for parentless children as possible. Immediately after the severe earthquake in nepal in 2015, "son of light" started a new project four new school projects launched. The first two of them are already realized, the other two are in preparation.
Alberto parmigiani from herzogenaurach is one of the founders of "son of light". He brings the donations personally to nepal. He plans and implements the projects on site together with his nepalese friends. He is personally involved in the realization and guarantees a safe, direct and unbureaucratic use of the donations, reports polster.

Old family recipe

The bread is baked in the haundorf bakery. Traditional, handmade and only from natural ingredients. And it continues: "rye and wheat flour, water and salt, plus the sourdough from the polster bakery according to an old family recipe – that’s all a good loaf of bread needs."
A pound of charity bread costs two euros. Half of the money goes directly to the project "son of light" for good. The bread will be on sale from ash wednesday onwards. On five special days it is also offered after the catholic service.
